Fiberoptic Studio, the creators of iSky Panel Systems, have introduced EcoStar, a starfield ceiling.
EcoStar is made from recycled polyester fiber, using the latest in “green” technology — 65 percent PET-recycled fiber and 35 percent PET -virgin fiber.
Available to order now, EcoStar's black drop-in ceiling panels significantly reduce the environmental footprint of acoustic treatment versus traditional fiberglass. EcoStar costs about half of a traditional star ceiling.
EcoStar comes with iSky star ceiling effects built in. These one inch thick panels allow for sound absorbing at 0.75 NCR and are fire retardant (self-extinguishing) and rated ASTM E-84 “A” grade.
All iSky panels are field cuttable.
