Yamaha DME64n And DME24n
Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems’ DME64n and DME24n digital
mixing engines feature DSP power and offer customizable audio system
solutions that can be combined and programmed to
precisely accommodate the
highly complex demands
of a stadium project. Both
the DME64n and DME24n
deliver precision and reproduction
fidelity with
optimally tuned 24-bit,
96-kHz digital processing. The Yamaha DME24n also features highperformance
analog head amplifiers that equal the sound and quality
of those found in top-line mixing consoles. With Yamaha DME64n
and DME 24n I/O flexibility and expandability, customers can cascade
up to eight DME64n units for 512 Inputs and 512 outputs. Network
capabilities of up to 16 DMEs per group including DME 64n, DME
24n, and Satellite models.
Symetrix Jupiter Line
Symetrix’s Jupiter line of installed sound DSP products is a zero
learning curve turnkey audio processing platform drawing its inspiration
from the apps paradigm of smartphones like Apple’s iPhone.
Jupiter hardware is available in three versions differing only in their
input/output counts. Jupiter software apps transform what would be
generic hardware into highly
specific audio engines for, but
certainly not limited to, operations
like paging, automixing,
and loudspeaker management.
Within the main application shell a user selects the desired app.
The selected apps main screen presents a view of the overall signal
flow and processing modules. Clicking on a module reveals a concise
graphic representation of complex audio processing.
BSS Audio BLU Series
The BLU-800, BLU-320, BLU-160, and BLU-120 reflect BSS Audio’s
commitment to continually offer increased flexibility and system enhancements.
HiQnet London Architect, provides support for the four
new devices and several significant feature additions. The flexibility
and capability of the Soundweb London platform has resulted in
global adoption and installation within a diverse range of applications.
The BLU-800 and BLU-160 models feature configurable DSP,
boasting four times the processing capability of exiting Soundweb
London DSP devices. The combination of the digital audio bus and
increased DSP capability allow 128 x 128 matrices within individual
devices and 128 x n matrices within a system.
MediaMatrix NION N6
The MediaMatrix NION is used in stadiums
for the world’s largest sporting events. Built
on architecture designed for stable, efficient,
and robust performance, the NION n6
features a 448-channel, high-speed digital
audio bus for seamless expandability. This
low-latency audio path makes NION perfect
for large-scale audio signal processing and
distribution in stadiums, where massive
amounts of audio processing is required.
The n6 features a floating point-based DSP
engine, coupled with efficient and highperformance
audio algorithms. Add to this
configurable GPIO, control extension and
grouping across multiple, independent
systems and custom scripting capabilities,
and the NION offers integrated system solutions
to allow designers and contractors
to create anything they conceive.
Electro-Voice NetMax N8000-1500
The N8000-1500 is based on the technology
in the Electro-Voice NetMax N8000. At the
heart of the N8000-1500 is the new DSP-2
engine. Composed of three dual-core processors,
the DSP-2 expands the total processing
power of the N8000-1500 to 1500
MIPS. The modular nature of NetMax means
that each input or output card added to a
chassis provides an additional DSP engine
and another 100 MIPS of processing power.
This means that a fully loaded chassis provides
1,900 MIPS of processing—almost
double the power of the original N8000.
QSC Q-Sys
QSC’s Q-Sys networked audio system is a
complete digital audio signal routing, processing,
system monitoring, and control
solution. The Q-Sys platform meets the
audio needs of any stadium or arena and is
scalable to accommodate the processing
requirements and budgetary constraints
of most projects. With power in the centralized
Core, system segmentation due
to processor constraint is eliminated and
redundancy implementations are simple.
Using QSC Dataport amplifiers and loudspeakers
in a system design, the full power
of Q-Sys can be realized; however, most
analog-input power amplifiers or powered
loudspeakers can be used with the appropriate
output card.
Sharp PN-E601 LCD Monitor
Developed for commercial use, the 60-inch
screen class monitor offers full 1920x1080
resolution from most any analog or digital
RGB source as well as HD video for outstanding
image quality, and 10-watts per
channel of stereo audio with built-in speakers.
The monitor is compatible for 24/7 use
in both landscape and portrait modes. To
ensure maximum flexibility for signage and
display applications, it offers an optional
input/output interface expansion board
along with an optional Signage Controller.
This display is additionally compatible with
SDSS Sharp Digital Signage Software.
NEC P551
The new NEC P551 is a 55-inch industrial
strength LCD display is designed to
endure 24/7 environments with its advanced
thermal design and panel protection.
Additionally, the P551 offers extensive
monitoring and control capabilities
through RS-232 loopback and ethernet
connection. More than 30 built-in features
assist during implementation with the Enhanced
Digital Signage Technology Suite.
The P551 can be mounted in both portrait
and landscape orientations and is touch
and protective glass ready. With the P551
expansion slot, installers can reduce outboard
hardware and cabling for a cleaner
look and more secure installation, using
one of the many option cards including
single board computers, video over Cat-5,
tuner cards, and more.
