IRVINE, CA—Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division and Crestron have announced plug-and-play compatibility with Crestron’s award-winning RoomView control software and several of Mitsubishi’s new projectors, including its EX240U, EW270U, and EW230U-ST, and its dual-lamp models, XD8100U and WD8200U.

“Crestron’s RoomView gives Mitsubishi projector owners more flexibility in presentation environments,” said Wayne Kozuki, product manager, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division. “Installing our projectors into a RoomView system just got easier.”

RoomView-connected projectors provide reliable web-based control of installed projectors for remote management and monitoring, and Mitsubishi includes all necessary firmware into its new projector models. Tech support requests can be sent instantly, lamp life and projector status can be monitored, shutdown schedules can be managed and emergency and daily announcement broadcasts can be made from any computer or laptop on a LAN.
