Challenge
Provide a durable wireless microphone setup that enables
community center staffers and others to communicate with
those who participate in the facility’s various programs in a
congested RF area.
Equipment Highlights
A 14-channel wireless microphone system consisting of
three Lectrosonics VRMWB receiver chassis—two fully
stocked, each with six Lectrosonics VRS receiver modules
and the third unit housing the two remaining channels. Two
Lectrosonics ALP500 “shark fin” directional antennas boost
reception capabilities; eight Lectrosonics LMa beltpack
transmitters and six HM series plug-on transmitters.

Challenge
Cap off a two-year renovation with an audio solution that
would aurally envelope the congregation while preserving the
aesthetics of the 82-year-old Spanish mission style building.
Equipment Highlights
Sixteen miniature cardioid and omnidirectional microphones
pick up the room’s acoustics, with signals processed by
one Meyer Sound MS-Constellation and two MS-VRAS
processors. The VRAS processors generate 32 de-correlated
reverberant signals that are distributed through the system’s
48 outputs to 67 loudspeakers. Reinforcement by 14
UPM-1P, four UPM-2P, two CQ-2, eight UPJunior VariO
loudspeakers, and 15 Stella-4 installation loudspeakers, as
well as 500-HP and USW-1P subwoofers.

Create a digital backdrop for Bible stories in the new Worship
Theater for children.
Equipment Highlights
A Vista Spyder X20 image processor performs a fiveprojector
blend for Bible storytelling, layering graphics, song
lyrics, DVD and Blu-ray content as well as input from a PC
and the pastor’s laptop. The screen size is 60 feet wide to 10
feet high for a total pixel space of 5120x786.

A distributed system of 10 Community Professional
Loudspeakers ENTASYS High Performance Column Line-
Array Systems—two pairs of ENTASYS cabinets cover
the front and side wings, with three more pairs mounted
further back and delayed via Biamp DSP. A pair of VLF208W
subwoofers provide low end reinforcement, and QSC
amplifiers power the system.

950-seat worship center.

Two clusters of six L-Acoustics KIVA enclosures each paired
with two KILO low-frequency extension boxes; four SB28
subs are horizontally flown between the arrays, with four
12XTi coaxial systems utilized to provide sidefill and delay;
two LA4 amplified controllers power and process the mains,
while the subs and coaxials are driven by two LA8.

Accommodate the atypical diagonal corner location of the
stage and the approximately 550 people in attendance during
services in a newly constructed church with a six-piece
praise band and a praise leader with a small vocal group and
a 30-voice choir.
Equipment Highlights
Twelve WorxAudio TrueLine V8-P powered line arrays and
two TL218SS-P Super Subs arranged in two clusters, each
with six V8-P elements, flown over the left and right front
edges of the stage/altar area; arrays are suspended using
WorxAudio’s TrueAim Grid; a single TrueLine M80-P is
suspended over the center stage area.
