Equipment Highlights
A Lectrosonics DM812 Digital Automatic Matrix Mixer
configured to accommodate six microphones, line level
input from the audiovisual system, and audio playback from
the court reporting system; Lectrosonics interface modules
enable users to make adjustments using a Crestron wireless
control system; audio is controlled via RS-232 from the
touchpanel at the judge’s station.

Integrate an audio system for the new Christian Ministry
Center’s 36 x 36-foot performance stage housed in a space
divisible into three smaller rooms.

A JBL PA system comprised of nine JBL VRX928LA cabinets
flown in three 3-cabinet arrays. Two JBL SRX728S subs,
JBL AC16 loudspeakers for fills; JBL EON 315 portable PA
systems; eight Crown XTi Series amps; a dbx ZonePRO
1260m processor.

environment for the renovated 5,000-seat Dedmon Center
arena.

Twenty-two Community SLS920 three-way full-range
loudspeakers for the main seating area and adjacent
volleyball courts, with eight i215LVS dual 15-inch
subwoofers and six i2W8 two-way boxes for front fill; new
LED video scoreboards, broadcast capabilities, and Crestron
control round out the system.

Challenge
AV design for the immersive 4D cinema film attraction,
“Beyond All Boundaries,” in the 250-seat Solomon Victory
Theater.
Equipment Highlights
Three Christie Roadster S+20K DLP projectors edge-blended
to create visuals on a 115- x 28-foot curved scrim; five
Christie DS+10KM projectors are used to create edge-butted
images for the second concentric screen 20-feet upstage;
a Christie Roadster HD10K-M projects onto three small
panels that rise up out of the pit in front of the scrim; plasma
monitors are driven by eight Electrosonic MS9500GL MPEG2
HD video players. “Beyond All Boundaries” is sourced from
five Electrosonic ES9600 dual-channel JPEG-2000 players.

Challenge
Implement a console-free sound system that delivers
consistent, intelligible music and voice across multiple
rooms in multiple configurations in a 1,000-plus-seat
sanctuary.
Equipment Highlights
Mic lines go straight to the open-architecture SymNet DSP
units; two SymNet 8x8 Express Cobra units and one SymNet
12x4 Express Cobra interconnect via an ethernet switch to
provide coordinated routing. A Symetrix 581E distribution
amplifier feeds two 250W Electro-Voice CPS-8.5 amplifiers
in the nave; six EV EVH1152/64 and two EVH1152/94 large
format full-range loudspeakers cover most of the nave,
with 14 EV EVID 6.2T compact surface mount loudspeakers
supplementing under ceilings and in the narthex; 20 EV C8.2
coax ceiling speakers cover the fellowship hall.
