Beaverton, OR -- Two company veterans will be transitioning into new roles with Biamp. Steve Metzger will be business development manager and Frank West becomes regional manager for the South Central region. Both employees have been appointed to their new roles internally and will begin their new positions in early October.
Steve Metzger, currently regional manager for the Southeast region, has been with Biamp for more than five years. In this newly created position, Steve will report to Ralph Lockhart, president, working from the Beaverton, OR office
. His new responsibilities include seeking out and researching emerging technologies, leveraging contacts and relationships to develop new business opportunities and partnerships, and considering broad, long-term opportunities that will contribute to the overall growth of Biamp.
Frank West, currently regional manager for the Central region, has been with Biamp for more than five years and moves to a region that has realized strong sales and consistent growth in the last few years. In his new role, Frank will continue to report to Ron Camden, VP of North American Sales and will relocate to the Austin, TX office.
