Lake City, UT--ClearOne Communications will immediately begin selling its design, integration and training services to new U.S. customers exclusively through its channel partners, which include audiovisual dealers and integrators and telecommunications service providers. ClearOne had previously offered these services to customers directly. The new business model gives ClearOne's channel partners access to the design, integration and programming expertise of the company's technical staff to help improve efficiencies within their organization by reducing the need for additional personnel and other fixed costs. It also provides them with an expanded suite of services to complement their existing product offerings, including programming, onsite engineering, full-service system design, installation assistance, project management and system training
. "The continued success of our channel partners is integral to our own success," said Mike Keough, CEO of ClearOne. "Access to ClearOne business services gives our partners a competitive advantage by enabling them to offer a seamless, integrated solution that more effectively meets their customers' needs. In addition, selling our services exclusively through channel partners eliminates competition between ClearOne and our product dealers." ClearOne has stopped bidding on new projects and will begin forwarding all new leads to its channel partners. ClearOne will continue to fulfill current projects and future sole-source jobs with existing customers, and will honor all existing service contracts and contract renewals.
