This Thursday, December 4, two seminars geared toward the latest technologies for commercial construction will be held in the Washington D.C. Convention Center, room 207B as part of the Government Video Technology Expo 2003.
"Integration for Today's High-Tech Buildings" is from noon to 1:30 p.m. This seminar will focus on how to use technology as a way to set a firm apart from competitors. Changes to the CSI MasterFormat, to be released after the first of the year with communications, life safety and building automation as separate divisions will be covered, along with the new specifiable credentials attached to these divisions.
Immediately following is the one-hour LU opportunity as presented by the District of Columbia Metropolitan Chapter of CSI: "Specifications that Meet your Expectations" with Mike King, FCSI, CCS. This one will offer information on how to implement the new MasterFormat and how to best use specifications to leverage project success
.
Specifications applied to government projects will also be discussed. Participants will receive complimentary badges to walk the exhibit floor December 3 and/or 4. The event is produced by the National Systems Contractors Association, (NSCA) and sponsored by Crestron.
