The 3 millionth Sanyo projector made, was just donated by Sanyo to the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. The projector is to go into a "mock up" classroom to test ideas for their Second Generation of classrooms (sometimes also called Classroom 2.0). The Second Generation classroom will be used by AV/IT staff, faculty, students, in real teaching situations, to determine the best designs for future classrooms in the Clough Undergraduate Learning Center building to open in Fall of 2011. The presentation of the Sanyo projector took place October 8th on the Georgia Institute of Technology campus.
